Come relax your mind and body with our weekly yoga class led by certified instructor Maria Betts. Be sure to bring a mat and bottled water and wear comfortable athletic clothing. Beginners welcome. Yoga at the Library is intended for adults.

Children ages 0 to 5 and their parents/caregivers are invited to join us for stories, songs, movement, rhymes and finger-plays in Russian and English.

The IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offer free basic tax return preparation to qualified individuals.
VITA sites offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns, including:
- People who generally make $60,000 or less
- Persons with disabilities; and
- Limited English-speaking taxpayers
Tax help is provided by IRS trained volunteers through United Way, not library staff. Library staff cannot help you with your taxes.
For weekday help, VITA operates at the Yolo County Children’s Alliance Family Resource Center at 1200 Anna Street Monday-Thursday. Call 916-572-0560 for appointments at YCCA.
Join us every Monday as we craft and draw together! Have fun and connect with others as we encourage each other’s creativity. Bring your own project to work on or use supplies provided by the library. All skill levels welcome. Best for adults & teens 16+.

An award-winning program for children ages 2-3 and their parents and caregivers that combines music, movement, visual literacy and language development. Mother Goose on the Loose helps children develop emotionally and socially while encouraging a positive attitude towards learning!
A lap-sit program best for children under one year and their parents/caregivers to promote language and social development through songs, stories, rhymes, and play.
